Who we are
Zeal Wheel (also referred to as PoolApp in the product) is a ride-sharing service where drivers post trips and passengers book seats. We facilitate coordination, in-app messaging, ratings, and payments so you can travel together and share costs transparently.
Information we collect
- Account & contact: mobile number for sign-in (OTP), display name, and optional profile details you choose to provide.
- Trips & bookings: route, date and time, seats, pricing, ride status, and related booking records.
- Messages: chat between drivers and passengers for a ride or booking, to help you coordinate pickup and trip details.
- Trust & reputation: ratings and reviews after completed trips, and verification flags where applicable.
- Payments: payment processing is handled by our payment partner (e.g. UPI via Razorpay). We do not store full card or UPI PIN data on our servers; we may receive transaction references and status needed to confirm your seat payment.
- Technical data: session tokens (e.g. secure cookies) to keep you signed in, and standard logs needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use your information
We use this data to create and manage accounts; show and match rides; display fair per-seat or fuel-related cost sharing; enable messaging; process payments; show ratings and history; prevent abuse; comply with law; and improve reliability and safety of the platform.
Sharing & service providers
We share information only as needed to run Zeal Wheel: for example, SMS providers for OTP delivery, payment providers for UPI transactions, and optional location or maps services when you use place search or map links. We do not sell your personal information. Other users may see limited profile and trip details needed to arrange a shared ride (such as name, route, and booking-related information).
Security & retention
We use industry-standard safeguards such as encrypted connections and secure session handling where applicable. We retain information as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting, or safety purposes, then delete or anonymize it in line with our practices and applicable law.
Your choices & rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update your profile in the app where supported. To exercise other rights, contact us using the details below. You can also stop using the service or ask us to close your account where applicable.
